About Us
Le Prix is a fun-loving sustainable women's fashion and lifestyle company (pronounced Luh Pree) based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. We carry modern pre-loved and new clothing, shoes and accessories from around the world. We also curate upcycled, zero-waste, sustainable and ethically made products that will improve your life and encourage a sustainable lifestyle. You can shop by walk-ins in-store, online, by appointment (there's a small fee), and you can book Robyn as a wardrobe stylist too.
Since 2012, our mission has been to foster sustainability, self-love and empowerment through a fun and inclusive shopping experience. Le Prix has always been a safe space for any background, gender identity, age, or size. We love creating a space for sustainable shopping where you can truly love yourself.
This is How Le Prix Works
We do the heavy work and look for the best pre-loved (& some new) clothing, shoes, and accessories from around the world so you don't have to. We collect pieces that we think you'll have fun in.
We get asked where we find our pieces, and it's a laundry list. We've shopped: around Canada and the USA, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, Greece, Cuba, and then some...
Le Prix Helps People Love Themselves and the Planet
Our goal is to help awesome independent women feel confident and able to take on the world so they can pursue their passions. We keep sustainability, self-love, and giving back to the community at our core.
What is the meaning of Le Prix? It's a combination of finding the perfect piece that you love and are so excited to wear, that you'll put it on as soon as you buy it. It ends up being one of your prized pieces on rotation in your wardrobe. It's also about not costing the earth or unethical labour.
Le Prix's founder, Robyn Hobbs, loved the adventure of being able to find inexpensive sustainable and gorgeous clothing around the world. Once she started having friends ask her to style them and find great pieces for their wardrobe, she recognized the opportunity to help women be empowered by discovering their style, shop sustainable fashion within their budget, and gain confidence in themselves.
